We know the pressure and guilt of not being able to see loved ones as much as you would like is stressful. Even more so when you realise they need extra help to stay independent in their own home.

Do you wish there was an easier way to stay in touch with the care provider at a time to suit you? We hear you and that’s why we have invested in technology that allows Kingsway CareGivers to post real-time updates via a Secure App called OpenPASS.

24/7 access via OpenPASS App

With OpenPASS, the client can view their notes and choose to give permission for this information to be viewed by friends and family or even their GP. Now, everyone can be confident that Kingsway CareGivers are attending visits at the right time, completing the correct activities, and administering prescribed medication.

All you have to do is log in, from wherever you are in the world via your Smartphone, tablet, or computer. Then you will be able to check the app, whenever you want to. Here’s what you will be able to do:

Booked care visits can be viewed, so you can check when they are planned and which carer will be visiting.

Details of the person-centred care plan are available to view, along with the visits and specific tasks. You can see all the digital care notes from all the visits that have been completed. You can also see things like what medication has been given on each visit including dosage and form. You can see what food and drinks were provided and if there were any problems on a visit.

Communicate directly with Kingsway Care

You can get in touch via the app to ask any questions or solve any issues by sending and receiving messages. Perhaps, you want to ask for a favourite meal to be prepared on a particular evening or just check how your loved one is feeling.

Who can have access?

As many people as you wish to see your care notes. All you need to do is provide consent for each person you want to have access to your information. You can even grant access to your GP and hospital so that they can use the information to help you more.

OpenPASS is a free service with every care plan we do. You can have an unlimited amount of users.
