Best New Home Care Agency
We started 2022 with the fantastic news that Kingsway Care is a finalist for this year’s Home Care Awards. After an incredibly busy first year, we’re so proud of every team member that helped us reach the national finals for Best New Home Care Agency.

Reimagining Home Care
Kingsway Care is reimagining how care at home can be. By empowering our employees to treat Kingsway Care Clients like their mum or dad or good friend. We encourage everyone to bring fun and imagination to care visits.
Besides routine care tasks, we invite CareGivers to bring their passions to work whether that be baking cakes with Clients or chatting about their favourite music or walking along the Sussex coast.

Why we entered the awards
We want to be recognised for being the best independent home care provider and the best employer too. The two go hand in hand, as we know that if we have happy CareGivers, we’ll have happy Clients too.
We asked the judges to consider us for the following reasons:
- Rapid growth during a pandemic
- Providing consistently outstanding care
- CareGiver recruitment success
- CareGiver training for happy and confident employees
- Innovative CareGiver retention initiatives
- Community spirit
Consistently Outstanding Care
Both Kingsway Care Clients and CareGivers report that we look and feel positively different to traditional home care providers.
We are proud that we receive nothing less than five-star reviews. On HomeCare.co.uk we are rated the number 1 home care provider for the Brighton & Hove area. Our entire team is driven to provide the very best home care and we thank them for supporting our Clients to live independently at home.
CareGiver Recruitment Success

We are in a people business and need to attract big-hearted people to deliver outstanding care. We have tackled the recruitment crisis head on and already created 50+ CareGiver roles. By providing top rates of pay, flexible working hours and benefits unheard of in the care sector such as our Employee Share Ownership.
Besides experienced CareGivers, we have also looked for transferrable skills and recruited a retired head teacher, probation officer, builder, PE teacher, singer and musician to name a few. All have found a renewed purpose in life and are great ambassadors for Kingsway Care.
We are proud of our equal opportunities policy bringing together a diverse workforce ranging in age from 18 to 75 and from all walks of life, reflecting the diversity of our Clients.
Continuous Training & Assessment
All our employees receive free training and three monthly assessments to ensure Kingsway Care’s high standards are understood and delivered with a smile. We love witnessing our team’s happiness and confidence boosting our Client’s well-being and daily life.
CareGiver Retention Initiatives
Employing the right people and reducing turnover is key to developing our happy and reliable care team. We have fostered a fun work culture for CareGivers to share best practices and celebrate their successes together.
Our management team take the time to get to know each CareGiver. We proactively check on each individual’s well-being to see if there is anything we can do to support them in their care role. For example, a change in routes and hours to suit their lifestyles or additional training can make all the difference.
Community Spirit
From the outset, being part of the local community has been important to us. By investing in Kingsway Coffee, our community hub, (next door to our office) and supporting charities such as Food & Friendship we are encouraging vital social connections that may have been lost during the pandemic.
The Future is Bright (Yellow)
We’re looking forward to expanding the Kingsway Care team during 2022 so that we can deliver home care with imagination and joy to as many people as we can.
And of course, we can’t wait until April to see if we have won Best New Home Care Agency 2022!
