Kingsway Care Employee Satisfaction questionnaire

We recently asked our employees to complete an anonymous questionnaire. Their feedback is as important to us as our Kingsway Care Clients. Whilst we’re not perfect, we’re delighted to find our efforts to develop a positive, supportive work culture for our CareGivers has been successful.

The entire feedback with all scores and comments will be shared with everyone so that we can continue to improve and grow together. Meanwhile, let’s have a look at a few highlights.

How supportive is Kingsway Care?

“It’s a very nice workplace and everyone is so warm and supportive”

We asked each CareGiver to rate us on a scale of 1 – 10. With an average of 9.7/10, we’re happy to see nearly all of our employees are extremely satisfied with the support provided. Of course, we will work towards 10/10 next time.

Positive feedback from CareGivers

The extent of positive feedback made us feel very proud of how much we have done to support employees new to care, as well as give a renewed love of the job to experienced CareGivers.

“They regularly check in with me, offering support, PPE, advice and guidance.”

“I feel I am never pushed in at the deep end and always feel supported.”

“I like the amount of time we have with our Clients. Kingsway Care is very supportive to all employees and Clients.

Constructive feedback

Kingsway Care Team Coffee meeting

“More meet-ups so CareGivers can meet.”

Social Events for CareGivers

More occasions to meet other CareGivers is the feedback that we heard loud and clear! Kingsway Care always wanted to be a very social home care provider for both Clients and CareGivers but Covid got in the way. Sadly, both our summer BBQ and CareGiver Christmas party had to be cancelled.

But now Covid restrictions have eased, we’re confident we can start planning regular meet-ups for our CareGivers. We are grateful for all the suggestions below. Watch this space to find out what we do next.

  • Gabriella (Adele tribute) Gig
  • Games night / Bingo
  • BBQ / meals out
  • Movie evening at Kingsway Coffee
  • Rounders / Sports Day
  • Karaoke
  • Coffee social at Kingsway Coffee
  • Bowling at Brighton Marina
  • Picnic on Hove Beach
  • Walking tour
  • Brighton Fringe

In-Person Training

Again, Covid restrictions made group training sessions difficult and we appreciate remote learning is not as much fun. Our CareGiver management team will be doing more group training sessions in our Hove headquarters and with individuals on the job.

Improved Roster Scheduling

Coping with holidays, staff sickness and ever-changing Client needs is difficult for every home care provider. But we are determined to improve all of our processes to provide the best working experience for CareGivers and care for our Clients.

Retaining and recruiting more big-hearted, competent, and reliable people to join our award-winning team is just one way we hope to minimise last-minute roster changes.

Keeping Kingsway CareGivers extremely satisfied is our goal.
