Kingsway Care signed the Age-friendly Employer Pledge, a nationwide programme run by the Centre for Ageing Better.
Multigenerational Workforce
Since day one, Kingsway Care has been an age-friendly employer, employing people aged 18 to 70+. We signed the Age-friendly employer pledge without hesitation because we love our multigenerational workforce and so do Kingsway Care Clients.
We support older and disabled Clients to live independently at home. Some Clients love mixing with the younger generation, whilst others prefer home visits with someone closer to their own age.
Older Workers
By signing the pledge we are showing our commitment to older workers and our age-friendly workplace. We value our CareGivers and offer the same training and career development opportunities to all employees, regardless of age. We encourage our older workers to flourish in our multigenerational workforce and share their valuable lived experiences.
Training & Development
Older workers frequently already have experience supporting a family member or relative with aspects of personal care but may be nervous about caring for ‘strangers’. Kingsway Care provide free training and ongoing support to ensure you will be a confident, professional CareGiver. You will always be introduced to new Clients during shadow visits and will never be dropped in at the deep end.

Flexible Hours
We understand you may already be a primary carer and need a job with flexible hours to work around your existing commitments. Kingsway Care offer full-time, part-time, morning, evening, and weekend home care visits in Brighton & Hove. We can find hours and routes to suit your lifestyle if you can work more than 10 hours a week.
Bring Your Talents to Work
Kingsway Care actively encourage our employees to have fun during home care visits and go beyond task-based care. Bring your talents to work and get paid for it! We have CareGivers that love baking cakes with their Clients or singing their favourite tunes. Or some that love to show Clients local places of interest or go out for lunch.
