Companionship Services in Brighton, Hove & Worthing

Care is about more than practical support. A friendly chat, shared laughter, or a simple outing can brighten someone's day and improve overall wellbeing.

"Kingsway Care has been looking after our mother for the last four months and all the carers are so loving and caring towards Mum. They always bring a smile to her face, and she really looks forward to her visits. They have always been professional, flexible and extremely understanding. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a little tender care."

Matching CareGivers to Clients

We match clients with CareGivers who share the same outlook and interests. Rotas are planned two weeks in advance to ensure you see the same CareGiver each visit and get to know each other.

By building a continuous relationship between you and your CareGiver, we know they will be well-placed to offer the best possible support and friendship.

Why Companionship Matters

Getting older can bring challenges like reduced mobility, health issues, and loss of confidence. These changes often lead to long periods of loneliness, especially for those who spend most of their time at home. Companionship can make all the difference.

At Kingsway Care, we believe that care is about more than just practical support. Spending quality time with our clients helps them feel valued, accepted, and connected. A friendly chat, shared laughter, or a simple outing can brighten someone's day and boost overall well-being.

Staying Social and Active

Our CareGivers help clients stay engaged with activities they enjoy, whether at home or out and about. This could include:

Visiting local cafés, shops, or garden centres Attending community events, cinema, or theatre trips Crafting, baking, puzzles, or board games over a cup of tea Walks in nature, along the seafront, or in your back garden

Kingsway Care Chichester Canal Trip

We believe social connections boost wellbeing so much that we occasionally organise days out for our clients and caregivers to enjoy each other's company. The Chichester Canal trip is now an annual summer event — and we suspect the Brighton Dome Carol Concert will become an annual festive tradition too!
