We have invested in technology that allows Kingsway CareGivers to post real-time updates after every care visit via a secure App called OpenPASS.
The Kingsway Care client can view their notes and choose to give permission for this information to be viewed by friends and family or even their GP. This service has proved invaluable during Covid-19 lockdowns or for friends and family that live far away from their loved ones.
Everyone can have peace of mind that Kingsway CareGivers are attending visits at the right time, completing the correct activities, and administering prescribed medication.
All you have to do is log in from wherever you are in the world via your Smartphone, tablet, or computer. Then you will be able to do all of the following, whenever you want to:
Booked care visits can be viewed, so you can check when they are planned and which carer will be visiting.
Details of the person-centred care plan are available to view, along with the visits and specific tasks. You can see all the care notes from all the visits that have been completed. You can also see things like what medication has been given on each visit including dosage and form. You can see what food and drinks were provided and if there were any problems on a visit.
You can get in touch directly via the app to ask any questions or solve any issues. You can ask for a favourite meal to be prepared on a particular evening or just check how your loved one is feeling.
Real-time care notes are sent when the care has been completed, so you can check the quality of care being delivered.
As many people as you wish to see your care notes. All you need to do is provide consent for each person you want to have access to your information. You can even grant access to your GP and hospital so that they can use the information to help you more.
OpenPASS is a free service with every care plan we do. You can have an unlimited amount of users.
