Meet Sue: Dedicated Team Member

Meet Sue: A Dedicated CareGiver & Client Coodinator

Ever wondered what it’s really like to be a CareGiver? Meet Sue, one of Kingsway Care’s amazing team members who joined us in March 2025. Her story is all about compassion, connection, and finding joy in making a difference every day.

From Dog Walker To Caring For People

Before joining Kingsway Care, Sue ran her own dog walking company, caring for 24 dogs (thankfully, not all at once!). When she decided to change direction, she wanted a role where her caring nature and life experience could make a real impact.

I used to look after my mum when my dad passed away and then my dog when he was seriously ill. I thought, why not put that experience to good use and help other people?

Making Every Hour Matter

Now, as a CareGiver with Kingsway Care, Sue spends her mornings visiting clients before heading into the office to support the team as a Client Coordinator. It’s a varied role that combines both face-to-face care visits and behind-the-scenes support to keep everything running smoothly.

I love seeing all my clients. They’re all so different, and it’s lovely to hear about their lives and history. I might only see someone for an hour, but that hour can mean the world to them. Sometimes, I might be the only person they see all day. Even if it’s just a chat and a cup of tea, that’s how it helps.

Client Coordinator Role

Sue's new Client Coordinator role includes managing healthcare appointments, ensuring repeat prescriptions are delivered on time, and spotting those little extras that can make a big difference to our clients’ physical and mental wellbeing. Read More about our Client Team

Teamwork, Care and Compassion

Sue says she loves that her role gives her the best of both worlds — connecting with clients while also working closely with the Kingsway Care office team.

I’m not just behind a desk; I’m out and about doing things and seeing clients, which I really enjoy.

When asked to describe Kingsway Care in three words, Sue couldn’t quite stop at three:

They’re caring, compassionate, and very good at what they do. If you need their help, they’ll go above and beyond.
