Palliative & End-of-Life Care at Home

Sensitive, compassionate, and respectful support for clients and their families during life's most difficult time — with dignity and comfort at the heart of everything we do.

At Kingsway Care, we understand that palliative and end-of-life care is a deeply personal experience. Our team provides the highest standard of care, built on trust, compassion, and over 30 years of experience supporting families across Brighton, Hove and Worthing.

If you have a life-limiting or terminal illness, palliative care at home supports you to live as well as possible — with pain management, emotional support, and the comfort of familiar surroundings. Many families find that staying at home, rather than moving to a hospice, is the right choice for their loved one.

"Kingsway Care are without exception a wonderful, kind community of people. They cared for my mother over a period of 18 months until her death in December 2022. During my mother's last weeks, the kindness and empathy shown to her was fantastic and the carers sat with her in her final hours, soothing and reassuring her. My father, brothers and I cannot thank Kingsway enough."

Client Story

Edna's Story: Compassionate End-of-Life Care

We began caring for Edna in 2022, when she was 90 years old. At first, she had one morning visit a day to help with personal care and breakfast preparation. Fiercely independent and full of character, she was loved by her whole care team.

As her needs changed over time, her visits increased — first to include lunch and tea visits, then to four visits a day, and eventually to double-up visits requiring two CareGivers. Throughout, a small, dedicated team provided familiar, consistent support.

Edna's family could visit and spend quality time with her, without worrying about her care needs. They received daily updates so they could be by her side when she passed. This is what we strive for — compassionate, dignified care that supports both client and family.
