1. Pioneering Positive Storytelling through Film
We’ve taken bold steps to elevate the profile of caregivers, starting with our short film, #WhoCares? Premiered at the Home Care Association Annual Conference, this film serves as a powerful tribute to the 1.5 million caregivers across the UK, showcasing their vital role in supporting our older and disabled population. The film’s success has brought much-needed attention to the challenges and triumphs faced by caregivers every day, helping to shift public perception of the profession.

2. A Day in the Life of a CareGiver: A Better Life Documentary
Following the success of #WhoCares?, we partnered with Nourish for an episode of A Better Life—a documentary series that highlights how compassionate, high-quality home care can profoundly improve lives. Through the lens of our incredible CareGiver, Sorin, viewers are introduced to real-life stories of transformation, from a young Paralympian to a WWII evacuee.
3. Innovative Partnerships for Recruitment
In response to the care sector’s recruitment crisis, we collaborated with East Sussex County Council to create a compelling recruitment film. This initiative aims to inspire others to consider a fulfilling career in care, presenting the rewarding aspects of the job and the positive impact caregivers have on people's lives.
4. Client Success Stories
Our client success stories speak volumes about the impact of personalised care. Whether it’s helping Martin, who has cerebral palsy, rediscover his love for Boccia and football, or assisting Ernie, an 84-year-old amputee, to move into a wheelchair-accessible flat, or days out for RAF veteran, Don. Our approach is all about enabling independence and joy in everyday life.
5. Empowering Our Workforce
Innovation at Kingsway Care isn’t just about client care—it’s about empowering our incredible team. Through the Kingsway Care Academy, we provide continuous specialised training. Our latest innovation is collaborating with Brighton University to create a program that enables our CareGivers to handle 'delegated tasks’ like wound care, pressure areas, and urinary management. This will ease pressure on local healthcare services, ensuring faster, more efficient home care for clients, and upskill our team.
