Dementia Support Sessions
Our free monthly dementia support sessions have been a great success. The opportunity for families to connect with others in similar situations is invaluable. So many people feel alone in their journey, and these sessions offer not only practical advice but also reassurance that they’re not on their own. Our Managing Director, Vicky’s knowledge of the benefits system and her passion for helping families navigate care options has been incredibly valuable. Too many families are left to fend for themselves, and we’re here to change that.
Join Our Free Sessions
Join us at the Kingsway Care Training Academy, where our dementia expert, Jonathan, will share valuable insights and answer your questions. Topics to include:
- Understanding Common Behavioural Changes
- Handling Verbal Repetition
- Addressing Memory Loss
- Benefits For Carers
On-site Support:
To ensure you’re able to fully engage with the session, Kingsway CareGivers will be available to care for your family member with dementia on the premises while you attend the session.
These sessions offer an open, welcoming space to connect with others in similar situations and gain practical knowledge on managing the complexities of dementia care. Refreshments will be provided and we have accessible toilet facilities.
