Yesterday, more than 50 of our amazing CareGivers, family and friends came together to celebrate at the Kingsway Care Summer Party 2025 – and what a day it was!
As always, our founder Olly went the extra mile to make sure his team of Yellow Angels were treated to a day packed with fun, surprises, food, and laughter.
Yellow Wristbands & Warm Welcomes
On arrival at Hove Lagoon, guests were greeted with sunshine, smiles, and a special yellow wristband. Subtly embossed with “Kingsway Care,” it also carried a message inside: “Property of a Yellow Angel.” A small reminder of just how special our CareGivers are.
Let the Games Begin
Then came the highlight – competitive, laughter-filled water games expertly hosted by Lagoon Watersports. From raft building and racing to stand-up paddleboarding (though not everyone quite managed to stay standing!), there was plenty of splashing, cheering, and team spirit on display.
Some of our wiser CareGivers decided to stay dry onshore, capturing the chaos on camera instead – which was probably the smartest strategy of the day!
Refuel & Relax
After working up an appetite (and swallowing a little lagoon water along the way…), everyone refueled with snacks, drinks, and a mouth-watering BBQ in the glorious sunshine.

Denise: “Thank you for a great team building event. Had so much fun, even though I swallowed half the lake!”
Audrey: “Thanks for organising such a great event. We had super fun and it was good to put names to faces. Great meeting everyone and conquering my fear of water. Great media team too!”
Camera Shy Kellie: “So lovely to see you all outside of work. It was great to see everyone having fun and letting their hair down (and get wet!). I was exhausted just watching you all out there from the lagoon.”

Celebrating Kingsway CareGivers
It truly was a day to remember! Celebrating our CareGivers for all the amazing work they do, day in and day out. At Kingsway Care, we believe in looking after those who look after others, and our Summer Party was just one way to say a huge thank you.
