Our wonderful 96-year-old client, Don, an RAF veteran, enjoyed an unforgettable day out at the Wings Aviation Museum near Haywards Heath, thanks to Jonathan from Kingsway Care.
Companionship Visits
Don told us he’s so grateful his grandson encouraged him to try companionship visits with Kingsway Care. He said everyone is so kind and caring and he thought his days of outings to his favourite places were over—but not anymore! As you can see from his smiles, he had a fantastic time reliving fond memories.
Mobility Aids and Falls Prevention
While Don’s sporting some bruises from recent falls, we're doing everything we can to support him. That’s why we’re partnering with Home Physio Company in Hove and the Brighton & Hove Falls and Fracture Prevention team to help Don regain his mobility and confidence.

'My Grandfather is 93, with heart failure, and has been deteriorating for a while after a series of falls and accidents. He has not been open to support past initial help after being in hospital. I finally managed to convince him to access support, and I set up a consultation with Kingsway Care. He is very proud and has not wanted help in the past, so this has been progress. The team has been amazing. They have taken their time and explained how they can help. A month in and he now describes his carers as angels! They allow him a more dignified life. He feels seen and understood, and I can see the change in him. He described with happy tears the joy of being able to have a shower - something I didn't know that he had been frightened of having. It gives me great comfort, as a Grandson, that he is getting more support than I can provide. Knowing someone is seeing him three times a week is reassuring. We've only just scratched the surface of the varied support that Kingsway provide'
